Sandwich Youth Tackle Football
Registration will be held at the Sandwich Middle School for the upcoming Sandwich Youth Tackle Football season. Ages for Football players is 7 – 14 years old and for cheerleaders are 1st through 8th grade. Veteran and siblings sign up will be March 2nd, 2010 from 6:00 p.m. – 7:30 p.m. New Player sign up is March 4th, 2010 from 6:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m with a lottery being held immediately after. In order to register you MUST HAVE birth certificate, a current photo, and proof of health insurance. (A sports physical will be required before the start of the first practice. Registration fees for football player and cheerleaders are as follows: First child $100, second child $90 and third child (and any additional) $80. You will need a check made out to SYTF for registration. In addition checks will be needed for a uniform deposit. One is required for football and a separate check for cheerleading. These checks will be held until all equipment is turned in at the designated date at the end of the season in good condition. New jersey orders will be taken the night of registration. All new players will be required to purchase a jersey. The cost is $48. A separate check will be needed for this. Please note that this year we are requiring a deposit of $100.00 to ensure each family's volunteer requirement is fulfilled These deposit checks will only be cashed if the player/family commitment is compromised. The raffle tickets will be issued at registration included as part of the registration fee. Each family will receive 20 tickets worth $5.00 each SYTF is dedicated to our youth. We offer many solutions to any financial hardships that this community's families may be going through. We will make ourselves available to work out a resolution to ensure that Sandwich Youth can participate in SYTF.
We are looking for old equipment donations. We will be collecting them at Registration Sign Up.
